Female Coaches

📍 Location: South Oakville Region (In-Person)
⏳ Commitment: Approx. 4 hours per week
💵 Pay: $25–$30 per hour

Do you have a passion for basketball and empowering the next generation of leaders? We’re looking for female coaches to join our Deep Roots Basketball & Leadership Program, supported by Jumpstart. This program is designed to keep girls engaged in sport, build confidence, and create inclusive spaces where youth can thrive.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly basketball practices and mentorship sessions for youth (ages 7+).

  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment for girls in sport.

  • Serve as a role model and mentor, encouraging leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence.

  • Collaborate with the HBV team to ensure a safe and positive experience for all participants.


Who You Are

✅ A passionate leader with experience in coaching or mentoring youth.
✅ Knowledgeable about basketball skills, teamwork, and player development.
✅ Committed to equity, inclusion, and supporting girls in sport.
✅ Reliable, positive, and excited to build community through sport.
