Slow down, create, and connect. A 20+ art wellness workshop and cozy movie night in Oakville.
The 905 Circle is excited to partner with Halton Black Voices for an evening of creativity, reflection, and community care at their Third Space located inside St. Paul’s United Church in Oakville (454 Rebecca Street).
What to Expect
The night will begin with a guided poetry wellness workshop facilitated by Ilana McCullough (@ilanamcculloughpoetry), a Scarborough-based poet and spoken word artist whose work explores themes of self-discovery, nature, and wellness. Ilana will lead us through grounding exercises, reflective writing prompts, and gentle creative exploration designed to help us slow down and reconnect with ourselves.
After a short break, we’ll transition into a cozy movie night. We’ll choose from the film options available in the Third Space and settle in together for a relaxed, community-centered viewing.
Whether you're coming solo or with friends, this space is designed to feel welcoming and accesible. This is meant to be an intentional yet low-pressure evening – come ready to meet, reflect, create and mingle with us.
